1 The Lutheran Church of the apostles
The Church of the apostles is the place of worship for the Lutheran community in Miesbach. It was built in 1908-11 according to the plans of Karl Schenkel. The Art Nouveau interior was last modified in 1998-99. Particularly noteworthy are the glass paintings (1925 and 1936) donated by Mr. and Mrs. Gans from Wallenburg (6) as well as the former altar piece "Christus am Kreuz" by Fritz Freund (ca. 1910) – see (11). One can hear the chimes of the displaced bells from Silesia.
Wie nennt man die Jünger, die Jesus ausgesandt hat, um von Gott zu erzählen? Tipp: Nach ihnen ist diese Kirche benannt.
